Seneca Hawk embody the unifying effects of rock and roll. Both in their music and their composition, Seneca Hawk fuse seemingly irreconcilable elements—from fusion time signatures and pop melodies, to surf rock instrumentals and classic rock riffs—to forge a new brand of Americana. Singer-guitarist Jonah Rivera fronts this unique Los Angeles trio with bassist Kyle Beswick and drummer Ankur (pronounced "encore") Bulsara.

There is no better place for the artist and the outlaw than the American highway, and Seneca Hawk took their quills and spurs to the open road for their first national tour in the summer of 2007. Their journey started on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, featured an instrumental set in a tiny Memphis bar two blocks from Sun Studios and a raucous show in front of crowd-surfing teenagers in a cramped Salt Lake City warehouse, and their travels returned them to the New York lands where they formed at Cornell University and drew their name.

Seneca Hawk have returned to Los Angeles and are in pre-production for an upcoming album with producer Adam Lasus (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Yo La Tengo). The Los Angeles Times, Variety, and Defamer are recommending Seneca Hawk's live shows over the local fray and visiting national acts, which have included headlining shows at the Troubadour and Spaceland. Seneca Hawk repeatedly play live on-air performances on KXLU 88.9 FM’s Neuz Pollution, with radio host Sam Cramer calling their sound “unforgivably heart-wrenching rock 'n roll.”

The young, independent power trio has been dubbed "a baby Cream" by none other than Cream's former manager.
